Sailing has a long tradition in the Union-Yacht-Club Attersee
In 2016 the Union-Yacht-Club Attersee (UYCAs) celebrated the 130th anniversary and is undoubtedly one of the oldest sailing clubs in Austria and Europe. With almost 1000 members it is the biggest sailing club in Austria.
The Union-Yacht-Club Attersee has already organised many World and European Championships and received the contract for the 2020 Forward WIP 49er, 49erFX and Nacra 17 European Championships after cancellation due to the Corona-crises in Italy at the beginning of July 2020.
The Union-Yacht-Club Attersee and its members are pleased to welcome the top sailors in the olympic speed classes. Everyone is willing to make these championships an unforgettable event for all participants.
Thousands of spectators will follow the event on the internet and on social media.
To find place for all the boats we are happy to have a partner near the club. Häuplhof is offering the place for the 49er (male) fleet on its charming grounds. There are two slipways (three and six meters wide) so that there should be no chaos when going in and out of the water.
